Nike Trail Second Sunrise Shorts

Nike Trail Second Sunrise Shorts 5"

Discover these trail-ready running shorts featuring seven versatile pockets, including three with zippers for added security.

Pros

  • Attractive two-color design.
  • Unrestricted range of motion.
  • Good length – not overly long or short.
  • Ample storage with seven pockets, including three zippered for security.
  • Pockets maintain a streamlined profile when filled, minimizing bulkiness.
  • Two smaller top pockets suitable for gels or similar items.
  • Partially open side pockets accommodate larger items like bars or tissues.
  • Zippered back pocket for essentials like keys.
  • Comfortable elastic waistband that stays in place without requiring a tie; however, tying is recommended for running to prevent slippage.

Cons

  • The designated phone pocket is unclear. While the side pockets can hold a phone, it may move significantly during sprints, although the zipper prevents it from falling out.
  • Fabric may feel slightly thicker, potentially less ideal for hot weather.

Best Suited For

Versatile shorts for various running activities and races due to ample storage options. Less noticeable phone movement at moderate paces, only starts heavily swining at sprinting speed.

What Nike is saying:

Designed for trail running, these sweat-wicking shorts set you up for taking the long route. We designed them using insights from trail runners like you, with a breathable feel and a shape that helps keep you moving on those epic runs. We know you want to bring your outdoor essentials with you, so we added plenty of pockets—as in 7 pockets—to keep all your gear close and secure.

Stay-Dry Support
Nike Dri-FIT technology moves sweat away from your skin for quicker evaporation, helping you stay dry and comfortable.

Cool Comfort
Breathable woven fabric feels smooth and cool. Side vents were designed with the trail athlete in mind, giving you room to move as you navigate the outdoors. A brief liner adds breathable support without hindering motion.

Safe Storage
With 7 pockets to choose from, you'll have plenty of storage. The 2 drop-in pockets can hold a key or card. 2 larger side pockets and 2 zippered hand pockets can hold pre- and post-run gear, and the back pocket is big enough to hold a phone.

Rapha Men’s Cotton T-Shirt Review: Stylish, Comfortable, but a Bit Pricey

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The Rapha Men’s Cotton T-Shirt delivers on style and comfort with a relaxed yet cool fit that aligns with current trends. It’s not meant to be slim-fit, and the cut feels casual and modern. Compared to previous Rapha Logo T-shirts, the sizing is now more consistent after the “size shift” last year. I used to wear an M in their older shirts, but now size S fits perfectly. The fit is similar to the older Logo T-shirts but slightly more boxy, with noticeably wider sleeves, which I think is clear in the comparison photos. Fabric and Comfort The fabric remains one of Rapha’s strong suits, with soft organic cotton that feels high-quality. Although it’s a bit thinner compared to their older shirts, the difference isn’t drastic—certainly not as significant as with the new Cotton Hoodie. The T-shirt is very comfortable, offering the softness and durability I expect from Rapha products. Design and Aesthetics I personally like the updated design. The older Logo T-shirts had a mo...

Rapha Men’s Cotton Hoodie Review: Disappointing Quality and Fit

⭐️ ⭐️  The Rapha Men’s Cotton Hoodie was something I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, it left me disappointed. This hoodie is supposed to have an oversized fit, but in reality, it just feels too large and baggy. I've always been a size M in Rapha’s men’s clothing, but things have changed over the past year. While their cycling jerseys still fit fine in M, I’ve had to size down for their off-bike clothing. Normally, sizing down to an S works for me, but this hoodie has a really awkward fit even in size S, as you can see in the pictures. The sleeves are excessively long and super baggy under the arms. The overall length is also too much, making the whole fit feel off. From the same Rapha Cotton Line, I own two t-shirts in size S, and they fit as they should—unlike this hoodie. The inconsistency is frustrating, especially for a brand that usually nails its fit across different product ranges. The value is terrible. Paying €110 for this hoodie is out of the question, but even at ...
