Rapha Men’s Cotton Hoodie Review: Disappointing Quality and Fit

⭐️ ⭐️
The Rapha Men’s Cotton Hoodie was something I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, it left me disappointed. This hoodie is supposed to have an oversized fit, but in reality, it just feels too large and baggy. I've always been a size M in Rapha’s men’s clothing, but things have changed over the past year. While their cycling jerseys still fit fine in M, I’ve had to size down for their off-bike clothing. Normally, sizing down to an S works for me, but this hoodie has a really awkward fit even in size S, as you can see in the pictures. The sleeves are excessively long and super baggy under the arms. The overall length is also too much, making the whole fit feel off.

From the same Rapha Cotton Line, I own two t-shirts in size S, and they fit as they should—unlike this hoodie. The inconsistency is frustrating, especially for a brand that usually nails its fit across different product ranges.

The value is terrible. Paying €110 for this hoodie is out of the question, but even at the reduced price of €66, it’s still not worth it. The fabric feels cheap and thin, and the inner lining is more scratchy than soft. This hoodie reminds me of something you’d find in a cheap fashion store, rather than from a premium brand like Rapha.

The only thing I like—and the reason I ordered it in the first place—is the design. The white/eggshell color is quite nice, and I’m a fan of the minimalist stitching on the chest. It’s understated and clean, which fits well with Rapha’s typical design language. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

Compared to the old Logo Hoodie I bought from Rapha around two years ago, this new version is an enormous downgrade. I absolutely loved the older hoodie, which was almost half the price (€60 versus €110) and featured a much better fit. The old hoodie was made from thick organic cotton with a super soft inner lining—a genuinely comfortable and high-quality piece of clothing. The new one, however, feels cheap, and the difference in quality is noticeable even in the pictures.

Overall, this hoodie is a letdown. The price is outrageous, and I only bought it because it was reduced to €66 (down from €110). Despite the discount, it still feels like a poor deal due to the cheap fabric and bad fit. I cannot recommend this product and will be returning mine. I hope Rapha reconsiders this direction and brings back their old hoodies.

Rapha Men’s Cotton T-Shirt Review: Stylish, Comfortable, but a Bit Pricey

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The Rapha Men’s Cotton T-Shirt delivers on style and comfort with a relaxed yet cool fit that aligns with current trends. It’s not meant to be slim-fit, and the cut feels casual and modern. Compared to previous Rapha Logo T-shirts, the sizing is now more consistent after the “size shift” last year. I used to wear an M in their older shirts, but now size S fits perfectly. The fit is similar to the older Logo T-shirts but slightly more boxy, with noticeably wider sleeves, which I think is clear in the comparison photos. Fabric and Comfort The fabric remains one of Rapha’s strong suits, with soft organic cotton that feels high-quality. Although it’s a bit thinner compared to their older shirts, the difference isn’t drastic—certainly not as significant as with the new Cotton Hoodie. The T-shirt is very comfortable, offering the softness and durability I expect from Rapha products. Design and Aesthetics I personally like the updated design. The older Logo T-shirts had a mo...
